McDonald’s seeks a Supervisor, U.S. Enterprise Communications for its U.S. Business Communications team. This position will support the storytelling effort to strategically advance the U.S. business narrative and drive awareness of key business priorities and a common vision of success among key audiences. This position will be based in Chicago, IL and report directly to the Senior Manager, U.S. Enterprise Communications. You will be a member of the broader North American Impact team
Duties
In this role, you will:
o Support the effort to develop communications resources that equip employees, leaders and other key audiences to serve as ambassadors of the U.S. narrative.
o Support development of content for U.S. executive communications in addition to social media and overall thought leadership presence of the U.S. Senior Leadership team.
o This may include researching, developing, and editing speech content, presentations, videos, memos, talking points, and other communications materials.
o Support the effort to develop and execute integrated, communications strategies and messaging for specific key U.S. business priorities that span internal and external audiences.
o Partner with U.S. Business Communications team to plan and execute key System convenings and messages such as Town Halls, webcasts, etc.
o Write and/or edit materials and messaging, including system-wide email messages and remarks/scripts for System meetings, events, webcasts, videos, or Town Halls, pulling through the overall U.S. narrative language and focus.
o Ongoing engagement and alignment with key stakeholders to drive consistency across the organization (e.g., Marketing, Operations, HR, etc.); includes activities like coordinating with communications team members and partners around master U.S. Business Communications plans/calendar.
o Build and manage critical stakeholder relationships.
Qualifications
Experience in a corporate communications role, either in-house or at an agency. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, strategic storyteller with the following attributes:
Strong internal and external communications experience, with a demonstrated ability to craft compelling stories.
Natural storyteller with excellent written and oral communications skills, including an ability to convey complex issues in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
Eye for business with a demonstrated ability to understand the needs and concerns of individual stakeholders and functions across the U.S. business, and how to use communication to get results.
Strong attention to detail paired with skillful project management and alignment experience for moving projects and people through a process.
Self-starter with strong sense of initiative, focused on results; ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects and, at times, within ambiguous and undefined circumstances.
o The ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, while being flexible, collaborative and deadline-driven.

Salary Range
The expected salary range for this role is $87050 - $108810 per year
